Vintage 20s Art Deco Orange Silk Velvet Applique Rhinestone Beaded Flapper Dress
This amazing Art Deco vintage orange silk velvet appliqué rhinestone beaded flapper dress dates from the 1920s. It is made of a pastel orange sherbet color sheer silk chiffon fabric, with orange velvet cut out circle appliques trimmed in rhinestones and silver beaded swirls, circular decorative designs. This fabulous flapper dress has a loose fitting drop waist, sleeveless style, with a wide orange velvet fabric panel draped around the waist, a side sash chiffon tie, full short skirt and is fully lined. The dress measures 44 inches long, with a 38 inch bust and 36 inch waist. It is in good as-is condition with a small hole on the front shoulder, 3 small holes on the bottom skirt and some small faint stains on the front top (see close-ups). This is truly a rare color and exceptional piece of Art Deco wearable beaded textile art!
