This antique Victorian era black plush velvet jet beaded ball trim winter cloak cape capelet dates from 1900. It is made of a black plush velvet fabric, with jet beaded trim done in decorative designs. This beautiful black beaded short cropped cloak cape capelet has a loose fitting shawl style, with black silk ribbon tie closure at the neck, velvet covered balls with beading trimming the bottom front ends and is fully lined. The cape measures 23 inches long in the front, 19 inches long in the back and is 20 inches wide at the shoulders. It is in good condition, with only some loose missing beading and one ball trim is missing off the end of the front neck tie closure. This is truly a wonderful piece of antique Victoriana winter mourning wearable art! $150 |
