pair of antique Ottoman period Turkish gold embroidery slipper shoes
date from the 1920s. They are made of hand embroidered tambour chain
stitch crewel needlework done in colored metal and gold metallic
threads. There is a colorful floral vine leaf embroidered decorative
design. These stunning slip-on mule slipper style backless shoes
have an open back, are white kid leather lined with silver embossing
and padding, hard leather bottom soles and embroidered low Louis
XV heels. The shoes measure 10 inches long, 3 inches wide, with
1 1/2 inch high heels. They are in good wearable condition and have
been gently worn, with only some slight tarnish discoloration. These
