Vintage Brown Suede Alligator Shoes & Handbag Purse Set. |
This vintage brown suede alligator shoes and handbag purse set date from the 1940s. It is made of a soft dark brown suede leather with faux alligator stamped embossed leather trim accents. Included in the matching set are a pair of high heel pumps with rounded toes and decorative bowtie trim on the front vamps. They are stamped inside "Hanan & Son London New York", size 5AA, but I think are more of a size 6 narrow width today. The shoes measure 9 1/2 inches long, 2 3/4 inches wide, with 3 inch high boulevard heels. Also included is a matching handbag purse, with double carrying strap loop on top, an inside zipper closure compartment, with mirror and attached coin purse inside. The purse measures 8 1/2 inches tall and 11 inches wide. This sensational set has been gently used and is in excellent wearable condition.
