This pair of antique Amish Mennonite wool embroidery baby boots shoes date from 1900. They are made of a dark blue wool fabric, with black trim edging and colorful hand embroidered wool yarn geometric designs done on the front toes and back heels. This pair of fabulous folk art infant baby boots shoes are from Pennsylvania Amish Mennonites and have eyelet lacing down the front for closure, squared toes, wool fabric bottom soles and are fully lined in a flannel fabric for warmth. The boots measure 3 inches tall, 5 1/2 inches long and 1 1/2 inches wide. They have been gently worn and are in good condition, with only a few tiny moth nips from the embroidered designs. The original shoes lace strings are missing and have been replaced. These are a rare find of antique Amish Mennonite Folk Art. |
