This vintage natural straw wide brim summer sun hat dates from the 1940s. It is made of two types of tightly woven natural straw and raffia done in a textured decorative weave. This sensational "Southern Belle" style summertime sun hat has a large wide brim, with a sheer layered ruffled straw trim edging. There is a black velvet ribbon hat band with bow trim back. The hat measures 21 inches inside crown circumference and is 58 inches in circumference outside. It is in excellent wearable condition.
