This vintage black straw lilac flower wide brim cartwheel hat dates from the 1940s. It is made of a tightly woven black straw, with black tulle netting, a pink velvet bow hatband trim and large lilac fabric flowers. This sensational "Southern Belle" summertime sun cartwheel style hat has a wide brim, with a small low crown and a black silk ribbon strap for securing underneath the back. There is a label inside which reads "Adjustable Head Size". The hat measures 54 inches in circumference outside the brim and 18 inches inside crown circumference. It is in excellent wearable condition.
