That This Victorian era antique silver repousse chainmail chatelaine coin purse and belt clip dates from 1890. It is made of an unmarked silver metal, with a decorative raised relief repousse chasing embossing design along the top and a chainmail mesh link work on the bottom. This charming chatelaine coin purse has a small heart shaped design, with tiny teardrop tassels hanging down the bottom and an attached chain strap with a decorative silver belt clip. The purse measures 3 inches long, 2 inches wide and is 8 inches long with chain link clip. It is in good condition, with only a few loose links along the side attaching to the purse frame. This is truly a wonderful piece of antique Victoriana!
