This vintage William J. ladies natural straw boater Shaker hat dates from the 1940s. It is made of a tightly woven natural straw, with a pink coral silk grosgrain ribbon hatband and bow back. This stunning Shaker style woman's boater hat has a tall high crown and wide brim. It is lined inside in green silk, with a hand written label "William J." and silk, velvet flowers glued inside. The hat measures 22 inches inside crown circumference. It is in excellent wearable condition.
