This antique Titanic Edwardian era green velvet wide brim floral hat dates from 1912. It is made of a dark olive green color plush velvet fabric, with an off white cream color cotton rosette rose flower trim on the front. This gorgeous grand green ladies hat has a wide upturned rolled brim, with a large low round crown lined inside in black polished cotton and would have sat atop a full Gibson Girl style updo hairdo. The hat measures 42 inches in circumference and 25 inches in circumference inside the inner crown. It is in excellent wearable condition, with only some slight wear fraying along the flower trim.
