This vintage pheasant feather birds nest pill box hat dates from the 1940s. It is completely covered with a variety of pheasant bird feathers. This sophisticated ladies charming chapeau cap has a small brimless pill box style, with a V drop drape back, elastic band for securing onto the back of the head and a cluster of feathers sticking out from the top in a birds nest made of brown netting, with two small beaked bird heads poking up. It is fully lined inside. The hat measures 22 inches inside circumference and is in good wearable condition. Truly a quality made, very unique and whimsical hat.
