This vintage Chapeau La Mode brown silk silver lamé flower flapper cloche hat dates from the 1920s. It is made of a dark chocolate brown silk satin fabric, with a silver metallic lamé flower trim edged and outlined in brown chenille. This fabulous flapper cloche style hat has a small brim and draped fabric deep round crown. It is fully lined in brown silk, with a "Chapeau La Mode Paris New York" label and "Fowler, Dick & Walker Importers" department store label. The hat measures 21 1/2 inch inside crown circumference. It is in excellent wearable condition.
