This vintage late Edwardian era belle epoque blue straw feather ribbon rosette wide brim hat dates from 1918. It is made of a slate blue dyed woven straw, with blue silk ribbon bow trim and pink silk roses flower trim both on top and under the brim. There are blue ostrich feather plumes trimming the crown. This beautiful belle epoque early cloche style hat has an uneven brim, turned up along the side exposing the ruched ribbon trim underneath. It is fully lined in white silk inside. The hat is a large size measuring 24 inches inside crown circumference and 44 inches outside the brim. It is in excellent wearable condition, with only some slight fading to the straw. $150 |
