This belle epoque vintage floral brown horse hair woven wired wide brim hat dates from 1918. It is made of a wired wide brim covered with a sheer dark brown woven horse hair net. There are orange and yellow fabric flowers trimming one side and pink ones on the other side. This ladies beautiful early cloche style hat has a uneven oval shaped wide brim. It is fully lined inside the crown in black silk. The hat measures 23 inches inside crown circumference and has a 3 inch wide brim. It is in good wearable condition, with some separation along the brim where the horse hair net needs to be reattached in areas to completely cover the brim. $100 |
