This antique Edwardian era brown velvet gold metallic lace bronze beaded trim winter bonnet hat dates from 1915. It is made of a dark brown silk velvet fabric, with gold metallic lace and bronze beaded trim edging the front opening. This wonderful winter bonnet travel hood hat has a gathered back neck drape, padded front opening and brown silk ribbon bow trim at the bottom. It is fully lined in a brown silk satin fabric inside. The hat measures 22 inches around the face opening. It is in good wearable condition, with only slight fraying of the ribbon bows and some missing loose beads. This is truly a rare find. $100 |
