This vintage belle epoque blue velvet feather floral trim gold lace wide brim hat dates from 1918. It is made of a blue velvet tall round crown and wired brim frame covered with a sheer gold metallic lace. There is a large blue ostrich feather plume, gold metal feather pins and pink velvet flower trim accenting and decorating the hat. This beautiful belle epoque summer hat has an asymmetrical, uneven wide brim. The inside crown is fully lined in white silk. The hat measures 24 inches inside crown circumference and is in good wearable condition, with only a few breaks in the gold lace along brim edging. This is truly a quality made ladies hat!
