This vintage Art Deco black net sequin beaded flapper headband headpiece cap dates from the roaring 1920s. It is made of a black sheer net, with hand sewn black sequins done in a spiraling Art Deco design. There is faceted black jet beaded trim edging and long strung bead loop strands draping down the sides. This fabulous flapper headband style headpiece cap has an elastic strap underneath for securing onto the head. The headband measures 16 inches long, 5 inches wide, with an 8 inch long beaded strand on each side. It is in good condition, with only a few loose missing sequin beads. This is truly a rare piece of beaded Art Deco textile art!
