This antique Edwardian Titanic era black woven horse hair feather trim toque traveling hat dates from 1912. It is made of a black woven straw coarse horse hair, with black silk ribbon and black ostrich feather plume trim. This lovely ladies large over sized brimless toque travel hat has a large rotund circular style and would have sat perched atop a Gibson Girl style up do hairdo. It is lined in black cotton inside the smaller inner crown. The hat measures 5 inches tall, 36 inches outside circumference and 22 inches inside crown circumference. It is in good wearable condition. This is truly a quality made & dramatic grand ladies Titanic era hat!
