This vintage Joan Filene's feather rosette flower velvet brim cloche hat dates from 1920. It is made of a reddish brown rust color silk velvet fabric. There are dyed to match ostrich feathers and velvet, gold metallic rosette flower trimming around the hat. This beautiful belle epoque cloche hat has a slouched style crown and narrow brim. It is fully lined in black silk, with a "Joan Made in Filene's Boston" label inside. The hat is a large size measuring 24 inches inside crown circumference and is in good wearable condition, with only some minor wear. This is truly a wonderful piece of wearable art! $150 |
