It is made of a woven black straw wire frame base, with black velvet ribbon, pink pansy, rose flowers and a pink bow trim on top. This beautiful bonnet has a flat plate style, circular shape with a black polished cotton lined small inner crown which would have sat on the back of the head secured with a long hatpin. The bonnet measures 31 inches in circumference and 10 inches across. It is in good condition. This is truly a wonderful piece of wearable millinery art!
