This vintage black straw upturned brim white silk flower flapper cloche hat dates from the 1920s. It is made of a black tightly woven straw, with white silk rosette flower applique trim outlined in black stitching. This beautiful black & white cloche style hat has a unique uneven brim which has an upturned brim along the front and side creating a winged point. It is unlined and the fabric appears to have been removed. The hat is a large size measuring 25 inches inside crown circumference. It is in good condition, with only minor wear. This is truly a wonderful piece of wearable millinery art!
