This marvelous mourning bonnet snood style headdress has a sheer unlined crown, layered net front brim, ribbon trim back curtain and silk ribbon chin strap ties. The bonnet measures 17 inches around the front face and is 12 inches deep from front to back. It is in good condition, with only some slight fraying of the silk ties at the chin. This is truly a wonderful rare piece of antique mourning millinery art!
