This vintage Art Deco woven black horse hair straw flapper cloche hat and hatpin dates from the 1920s. The hat is made of a sheer woven black horse hair net straw, with a loosely woven lattice lace slight front brim. There is a spindle turned style celluloid hatpin trim pinned onto the side. This fabulous flapper cloche style hat is form fitting, with a layered style, an uneven asymmetrical slight folded rolled brim and fully lined in black silk. The hat measures 21 inches inside crown circumference. It is in good condition, with only a small break, hole on the back net. This is truly a wonderful piece of wearable Art Deco textile art!
