This vintage Art Deco black and white silk red rosette wired wing brim flapper cloche hat dates from the 1920s. It is made of a black and off white cream color silk fabric, with red and white silk rosette flower trim around the crown. This fabulous flapper cloche style hat has a unique wired wing wide brim fanning out on either side creating a contrasting color oval shape. It is fully lined in silk and has an "S London, Paris & New York" label inside with fleur de lis, lion and eagle pictorial design. The hat measures 24 inches inside crown circumference. It is in good condition, with only a couple of tiny frays along the wired brim edging. This is truly a rare and wonderful piece of wearable Art Deco millinery art!
