This vintage Tenne Hats purple lilac woven straw lavender flower flapper cloche dates from the 1920s. It is made of a pale purple lilac color woven straw fabric, with pink grosgrain silk ribbon trim edging around the brim, hatband and tiny velvet lavender flowers, blossoms trimming the front. This fabulous flapper cloche style summer hat has a form fitting style with a slight rolled upturned brim. It is fully lined in silk and has a "Tenne Importer Hats Paris New York" label inside. The hat is a small size measuring 21 inches inside crown circumference. It is in good condition, with only a few tiny faint age spot stains on the back (see close-up). This is truly a wonderful piece of wearable Art Deco millinery art!
