This antique Uzbekistan suzani embroidered tribal textile lady's hood hat cap dates from the 1940s. It is hand stitched, made of a black cotton quilted stitch fabric, with colorful hand embroidery work done in the Uzbek suzani style with chain, satin and buttonhole stitches creating decorative tribal designs. This lovely lady's hooded hat has a back flap drape covering the back hair, with colorful tassel trim on the bottom and is fully lined in a blue and white cotton floral print fabric. The hat measures 17 inches long in the back and is 23 inches in circumference inside the cap. It is in good condition, with only some minor wear and staining discoloration inside. This is truly a beautiful piece of one of a kind antique Uzbekistani suzani textile art and would make for a wonderful display piece!
