This vintage black chantilly lace wired wing trim wide brim cloche hat dates from the 1920s. It is made of a wired frame covered with a sheer black net fabric and fine black chantilly lace. There is a wired wing bow trim covered with chantilly lace and a jet beaded button hatband accent. This fabulous flapper cloche style hat has a form fitting style with an uneven asymmetrical oval shape brim, which is wider along the sides. It is fully lined in a black net fabric inside. The hat measures 23 inches inside crown circumference and 40 inches outside. It is in good condition, with only a few small frays in the net fabric crown. This is truly a wonderful piece of wearable Art Deco millinery art!
