This vintage Hart Hats black silk velvet wide brim purple flower flapper cloche hat dates from the 1920s. It is made of a two tone black silk and velvet fabrics, with a large varying shades of purple velvet fabric flower trim on the side. This fabulous flapper cloche style hat has a form fitting style with an upturned wide brim which is wider on the sides and front, backed in black velvet and is fully lined inside the crown in black silk with a "Hart Hats Cleveland, New York, Paris" label. The hat measures 22 inches inside crown circumference. It is in good condition, with only some minor wear to the velvet nap underneath the brim. This is truly a wonderful piece of wearable Art Deco millinery art!
