This Edwardian era vintage Matteawan Mfg. Co. dark green felted wool derby bowler hat dates from 1910. It is made of a dark green plush felted fur nap wool fabric, with a green silk grosgrain ribbon hat band. This beautiful bowler derby style hat has a wide slightly upturned brim, a tall round crown and is fully lined. There is a "Matteawan Mfg. Co." gold embossed label inside. The hat measures 23 inches inside crown circumference and is 40 inches outside the brim. It is in good condition, with only a few tiny moth nips. This is truly a wonderful piece of wearable millinery art!
