This vintage Janet Meisner Mado Paris label green velvet leaf floral trim bicorne hat dates from the 1940s. It is made of varying shades of green to gray ombre velvet flower and leaf trim appliquéd and completely covering the entire hat. This beautiful bicorne style womens hat has a long broad front brim, with upturned sides and back, an attached chin strap and is fully lined. There is a "Janet Meisner 397 Madison Avenue N.Y.C." designer label and "Mado 22 Rue Des Capucines Paris" store label sewn inside. The hat measures 22 inches in circumference inside the crown, is 11 inches long and 8 inches wide. It is in good condition, with only some remnants of green tulle net left on the side. This is truly a wonderful piece of unique wearable millinery art!
