It is made of a grayish purple lavender color silk velvet fabric with ruched gathering. This beautiful bonnet has a small petite half style, with grayish purple lavender silk ribbon ties for securing under the chin and is lined with a white silk fabric, with an "Importer M. Morton 62 Staff St. Rochester, N.Y." label hidden inside. The bonnet measures 7 inches tall, 5 inches wide and 4 inches deep. It is in good as-is condition, with some fading discoloration on the velvet fabric from purple lavender to gray in areas and some frayed splits of the white silk lining inside. This is truly a wonderful piece of wearable Victoriana millinery art!
