This antique Victorian womens calico cotton floral print long curtain sunbonnet sunhat workwear bonnet dates from 1900. It is made of a blue, black and white cotton calico fabric, with forget me not flowers design print pattern. This women's workwear summer sunhat sunbonnet would have been worn while working in the fields, with a wide large broad brim to shade the face from the sun and very long curtain cape ruffle back drape flounce for protection of the neck with drawstring gathering on back. It is unlined and has a matching fabric front tie closure. The bonnet measures 22 inches long and is 13 inches deep. It is in fair as-is condition, with several small stains and tiny holes. This is truly a wonderful piece of antique Victoriana textile wearable art!
