It is made of a small wired frame covered with black woven straw with ruched gathered layered on top, black tulle fishnet, lace ruffle trim, a black silk flower bouquet on the side and black silk grosgrain bow trim on the bottom back.

This antique Victorian era black woven straw lace, net, flowers full mourning bonnet hat dates from the 1880s.
