This vintage Victor girls red wool white stitched black bow trim bicorn Breton hat dates from the 1920s. It is made of a red wool fabric, with a wired brim, decorative white stitching, a black knotted rope, silk hatband and bow trim on the front. This unique Blossom style Breton bicorn girls child's hat has a round crown, upturned rolled brim on the front and back exposing the face. It is fully lined in a white cotton muslin fabric, with a "Victor" size 6 1/4 paper label sewn inside. The hat measures 12 1/2 inches wide and 19 inches in circumference inside the crown. It is in good condition, with only some slight wear along the rope trim. This is truly a wonderful piece of wearable textile millinery art!
