This vintage Cavanagh Hats New York label men's felt taupe brown derby bowler hat dates from the late 1950s. It is made of a brownish gray taupe color felt wool, with a brown silk grosgrain ribbed ribbon hatband trim. This dashing dapper derby gentlemen's bowler hat has a hard rounded crown, a small rolled brim trimmed in a brown silk grosgrain. elastic straps attached underneath for securing onto the head and is fully lined in a white silk satin fabric. There is a "Cavanagh Hats New York" embossed label inside. The hat appears to be a small size measuring 4 inches tall, 21 1/2 inches inside circumference and has no size label tag. This quality made mens bowler hat is in good condition, with only some minor wear and has been gently worn. It is truly a wonderful piece of wearable millinery art!
