Victorian Jordan Marsh Co. Brown Leather High Top Boots. |
This pair of antique Victorian era Jordan Marsh Co. brown leather high top boots date from 1900. They are made of a light reddish brown mahogany color leather, with decorative punch work designs. The boots have the original brown shoe laces, pointed toes and stacked wooden cube heels. They are lined inside and stamped "Jordan Marsh Company" in gold lettering, with the original paper label price tag on the inside heel (see close-up). The boots measure 10 inches tall, 11 inches long, 3 inches wide, with 2 inch high heels. These antique boots are difficult to size for today's foot but my guess would be about a size 8 or 8 1/2 narrow width. They have been gently worn and are in good wearable condition, with only some minor wear scuffing. These are beautiful quality made boots.
