This pair of antique Greek opanke tsarouhi child's red pompom shoes date from the 1920s. They are hand stitched, made of red leather and gold metal thread gilt wire embroidery work and red woolen pompoms on the front toes. These traditional opanke style child's tsarouhi moccasin shoes are from Greece and have a Balkan countries, Turkish influence. The shoes measure 6 inches long and 2 inches wide. They are in good condition and have been gently worn. These are truly a beautiful one of a kind piece of wearable antique Greek textile art.
