This pair of vintage Art Deco gold metallic silver lamé flapper shoes date from the 1920s. They are made of a muted red, white and blue silver metallic lamé silk fabric, with gold metallic leather trim accent straps. These elegant evening Art Deco flapper dance shoes have a decorative interlocking crisscrossing strap front vamp instep, keyhole peek-a-boo openings, with adjustable ankle straps, rhinestone buckle closures and modified boulevard high heels. They are stamped inside "R.H. Macy & Co. Inc. New York" department store. The shoes measure 10 inches long, 2 3/4 inches wide, with 3 inch high heels and are stamped inside a size 7 1/2 AA. They have been gently worn and are in excellent clean wearable condition. These are truly a rare wonderful piece of Art Deco textile wearable art.
