This pair of Art Deco antique silver lamé brocade mary jane button strap shoes date from the 1920s. They are made of a silver metallic lamé brocade fabric, with a floral vine leaf pattern design. These elegant evening Art Deco dance flapper shoes have a mary jane style with button strap closure across the instep, pointed toes and silver lamé applique striped side trim. They are lined in white kid leather, with gold embossed lettering from the "Flint & Kent" upscale New York department store. The shoes measure 10 1/2 inches long, 2 1/2 inches wide, with 2 inch French Louis XV high heels. They have been gently worn and are in good wearable condition. These are a rare find of wearable Art Deco shoe art.
