This pair of antique Victorian era brown leather red tassel high button baby boots child shoes date from the 1870s. They are made of a dark brown leather, with 5 black buttons down the scalloped edged sides for closure and red silk tassels hanging from the tops. These charming child's high top boots have rounded toes, hard leather soles stamped size 2, and are lined in a striped cotton ticking fabric. The boots measure 3 3/4 inches tall, 4 1/2 inches long and 1 3/4 inches wide. They have been gently worn, with only some slight wear and scuffing on the back heels. One shoe has a slightly lighter shade of brown two tone scalloped button closure front flap. These are truly a quality made pair of children's shoes!
