This pair of antique Chinese red silk embroidered floral duck slipper shoes date from the 1930s. They are made of a red silk fabric, with colorful silk raised padded satin stitch hand embroidery work and braided silk trim edging along the top. There are embroidered lotus flowers, lily pads and a pair of ducks near the heels. These slipper style slip-on shoes have hard leather bottom soles, red silk covered heels and are fully lined in linen, with a "Made in China" ink stamp label inside. The shoes measure 10 inches long and 2 1/2 inches wide. They look to have never been worn and are in excellent clean wearable condition. These are a wonderful piece of wearable antique Chinese textile art! $100 |
