This pair of antique Victorian Civil War era brown leather beaded bow Louis heel shoes date from 1860. They are made of a dark brown leather, with black jet and steel cut beading done on the front toes, with brown silk ribbon bow beaded trim instep vamps. These beautiful beaded ladies ball room dancing elegant evening shoes have a slip on slipper style, with a 1 inch high stacked wooden low French Louis XV heel and rounded toes. They are lined in a tan leather and linen fabric inside. The shoes measure 10 inches long and 2 1/2 inches wide. They are in good condition and have been gently worn, with only some minor wear and some slight rust to a few of the beaded trim. These would make for a wonderful display piece! $150 |
