This pair of early Victorian era antique white silk straight sole bridal wedding shoe slippers date from the 1840s. They are hand stitched and made of an off white ivory color silk fabric and lined in linen. These early wedding ladies bridal slipper shoe ballet flats have squared toes and straight leather flat bottom soles with no left or right distinction. The shoes measure 10 inches long and 2 inches wide. They have been gently worn. These delicate slippers were probably reserved for indoor wear, evening dress or special occasions. These are a rare and early find!
