This pair of antique Afghanistan Pakistan carved wood Khrawan stilt sandal shoes date from the late 19th century. They are made of hand carved wood, with decorative etched designs. These unique men's sandal shoes have a stilted style and a leather thong strap across the instep. This style of shoe "Khrawan" were worn in Afghanistan and Pakistan by the men of Swat Valley. The shoes measure 9 inches long, 3 1/2 inches wide, with a 1 inch heel. They are in good condition, with some wear and cracking to the leather strap. These are truly a beautiful one of a kind piece of hand carved antique Afghani, Pakistani shoe art!
