This pair of Art Deco vintage J & J Slater NY gold lamé brocade flapper slipper shoes date from the 1920s. They are made of a gold metallic lamé brocade fabric, with a floral pattern design. These elegant evening Art Deco dance flapper shoes have a slip on slipper style, with pointed toes and gold lamé fabric covered French Louis XV heels. They are lined in white kid leather, with gold embossed lettering from "J & J Slater New York". The shoes measure 10 inches long, 2 1/2 inches wide, with a 2 1/2 inch high heel. They have been gently worn and are in good wearable condition, with only some slight tarnish discoloration. These are a rare find of wearable Art Deco shoe art!
