This pair of rare antique Victorian era women's black leather high top lace-up hiking riding boots date from 1890. They are made of black leather, with decorative punch work across the toes, long black shoe string laces and eyelet fasteners along the top. These unique ladies early athletic sportswear outdoor, walking, hiking, riding boots have a very long height, with flared tops, narrow ankles, pointed toes and stacked wooden cube heels. The boots measure 16 inches tall, 10 1/2 inches long and 3 inches wide. They are in good condition, but have been well worn, with scuffing and flaking of the leather along the side of one boot. These rare boots would be great for display or design!
