Victorian Unworn Vintage Welteze Shoes Black Leather High Button Boots. This pair of unworn antique Victorian era vintage Welteze Shoes black leather high button boots date from 1900.

This pair of unworn antique Victorian era vintage Welteze Shoes black leather high button boots date from 1900. They are made of a supple black leather, with decorative punch work trim across the front toes. The boots have rounded toes, 14 black shoe buttons along the side for closure and stacked wooden cube heels. They are stamped on the bottom leather soles "Special Flexible Sole" and come with the original paper tag from "Welteze Shoes". The boots measure 9 1/2 inches long, 3 inches wide, with 2 inch high heels. These antique boots are difficult to size for today's foot, but my guess would be about a US size 6 narrow width. They are in unworn excellent wearable condition, with only a tiny scuff mark on the back heel. These are truly a beautiful quality made antique boot and rare find!
