This pair of Victorian era vintage Kelly & Murphy black leather ribbon tie strap shoes and box dates from the 1880s. They are made of a black leather with black silk satin ribbon tie straps. These lovely ladies slipper style shoes have slightly squared toes, with ribbon tie straps across the instep, a black leather low French Louis XV heel and are lined with white kid leather and linen inside. The shoes measure 10 inches long, 2 1/2 inches wide, with 1 1/2 inch high heels and are marked as a size 6. They come with the original box from "Kelly and Murphy" which has beautiful black & white graphics print designs of a woman in 1880s dress and animals. The shoes have been gently worn with very little wear, a few small scuffs on the leather and are in good condition. The shoe box has wear with some paper loss and breaks small rips. This is truly a rare and wonderful piece of antique Victoriana art!
