This pair of vintage Saks Fifth Avenue Art Deco silver lamé black satin T-strap shoes date from the 1930s. They are made of a black silk satin fabric with silver metallic lamé leather trim edging accents. These elegant evening dance shoes have decorative woven overlapping crisscrossing straps with peek-a-boo openings, a T-strap adjustable ankle strap with rhinestone buckle side closure and black satin fabric covered modified boulevard high heels. They have a "Saks Fifth Avenue Fenton Footwear" label inside. The shoes measure 10 1/2 inches long, 2 1/2 inches wide, with 3 inch high heels and are stamped inside a size 6A. They have been gently worn and are in good condition, with only some wear along the silver leather trim. These are truly a wonderful piece of Art Deco textile art!
