This pair of antique Victorian era white velvet rosette maryjane baby infant shoes and box date from 1900. They are made of an off white ivory color velvet fabric with silk rosette floral petal trim on the instep front vamps. These precious little maryjane style shoes have a ankle strap button closure, leather bottom soles and rounded square toes. The shoes measure 4 1/2 inches long and 1 1/2 inches wide. They come in a pretty paper box covered with floral rose wallpaper along the sides and a beautiful litho print girl on the front, with an open top and side. The shoes are in good condition with only some small faint age spotting and the box has some wear along the edges with paper loss. These sweet shoes would be great for display for a nursery or antique doll!
